ABZORB® cushioning is New Balance’s proprietary basic cushioning compound.
This foam-based polymer works by dispersing force out from the point of impact and reducing the shock transferred through the shoe and up into the leg and body. This type of shock is sometimes responsible for heel, ankle and even back pain, so reducing it has many potential health benefits. By absorbing shock and displacing energy, ABZORB softens the impact, foot strike after foot strike.
Most New Balance shoes incorporate some form of this highly effective cushioning material.

The amino acid glutamine, also contained in Hammer Whey, plays a vital role in the health of the muscles, immune system, and digestive tract. Glutamine is arguably the key "recovery amino" as it (A) helps boost the immune system (B) helps to reduce the symptoms of overtraining syndrome (C) plays a role in enhancing glycogen synthesis (D) stimulates muscle protein synthesis for the rebuilding of lean muscle tissue.
PRODUCT DETAIL
Athletic performance improvement depends on a program of exercise to stimulate muscular and cardiovascular adaptation followed by a recovery period in which the body rebuilds itself slightly more fit than before. Thus, the real gain of exercise occurs during recovery, but only in the presence of adequate rest and optimal nutritional support. Carbohydrate and protein replenishment, as soon as possible upon completion of the workout, helps you to get the very most out of every minute you’ve put into training. That’s where Recoverite comes in, providing unsurpassed nutritional support to ensure you obtain the maximum value from your workouts and complete recovery after each training session and race.

Foam Rolling or Body Rolling is a form of self-massage used by fitness enthusiasts, athletes and therapists to relax or “release” tight muscles. This form of massage is designed to increase elasticity of connective tissue therefore relaxing the muscles allowing them to respond more efficiently and effectively during activity.
Foam Rollers can be an invaluable tool for core development, stabilization and strengthening. Foam rollers can also be used to enhance balance for everyday activities or sports. Rollers come in various sizes ranging from 12” up to 36” in length and are usually 6” in diameter in full or half models. The longer rollers are typically used for massage as well as postural alignment. Whereas the shorter rollers are ideal for acute massage or make an excellent travel companion for on the road self massage. The half round versions are sometimes used to enhance some balance exercises or to decrease the need for balance for other exercises. Either way, foam rolling is a bonus to any exercise routine!
