All-in-One Solution
The ProPlay Performance System is more than just another video camera or another version of swing analysis software. We provide a complete Athletic Performance System that puts the power of video technology into the hands of the committed athlete providing the player with the tools he/she needs to Capture and Analyze their motion in real-time, leading to immediate Results.
Power of Video
Most golfers/players have probably never used video analysis to improve their game
despite the fact that the vast majority of us are very visually oriented. Very often what we think we’re doing and what we’re actually doing are very different. But once we see it, we’re much more likely to identify the problems in our swing and develop swing thoughts that help us improve our positions, resulting in better Results.
Interactive Components
Our Camera, Software and Online Academy work together to provide the athlete with visual information that will lead to real-time improvement and tangible Results. Everything we offer is designed and built with the highest Quality, is Simple to use, and will deliver Results.
Lessons the Old Way
We’d take a lesson, get
some pointers from our pro, and then head off on our own to work on the things the pro asked us to work on. But while we were on the range working on the swing adjustments, we had no way of knowing if we were doing the right things or not. Generally, we’d then go back for our next lesson and find we really hadn’t made much progress because we weren’t really practicing the right things. So we’d start the process all over again.
Lessons the ProPlay Way
Using our system, you know immediately what your swing looks like while you’re practicing so you can keep working until you get it right. Then later you can upload the videos to your computer and email them to your coach and get his/her input on whether you’re making progress. No reason to wait until your next in-person lesson. Or maybe you’re not working with a pro but you’re trying to make a swing change based on what you’ve seen the pros do or what you read in a golf magazine or saw online. Either way, you want to make your practice sessions as meaningful as possible and getting real-time video feedback with the ProPlay Performance System will really make a difference.
Secret’s in the Dirt
We all love buying the next new driver or Scotty putter and we do believe that they might result in some improvement in our play. But as Hogan proved, if you really want to improve, you need to practice. Hogan also said something to the effect that if he had been able to video his swing he would have made much quicker progress and won many more Majors. But because most of us don’t have a ton of time to practice, and we’re lucky if we get out to play once a week or so, we need to make our practice time much more efficient and effective. That’s the real value of the ProPlay Performance System. but if you really want to see improvement, improve your swing and your short game.
Short Game Benefits
While the ProPlay Performance System will help you improve all facets of your game, it’s a great tool for working on your short game – chipping and putting. And we all know that if we want to shoot lower scores we need to chip and putt better. Using the ProPlay, with its cool little tripod placed behind you or behind the hole, you get a ground level view of your stroke so you can clearly see the path of your stroke – are you taking the putter back too far inside or outside? Are you cutting across it? Are you lined up correctly? Try it on the putting green and you’ll have a much better understanding of what your stroke looks like and what you need to work on.
Designed by Golfers for Golfers but Benefits all Athletes
During our field test over the past year, we found that while the camera was designed for the golfer, athletes in a variety of other sports saw the value in our camera. In essence, any sport where swing or motion fundamentals are important is an excellent candidate for the use of the ProPlay. Sports such as tennis, baseball/softball, bowling, football, basketball and others all benefit from the use of our camera to video and analyze motion. We also learned of other applications we hadn’t considered: skydivers love the camera for videoing the scenery as they plummet towards the ground using a suction mount on their helmet; NASCAR drivers also love the camera when mounted on the dash as it provides the ideal frame of vision for videoing the race course as they fly around the track.
Have More Fun!
Let’s face it – we have more fun when we play better! And the ProPlay Performance System will help you play better.
Intuitive and Plug-and- Play
Our products are very intuitive and are designed to be plug-and-play so that regardless of your skill level with cameras or computers you’ll be able to use our system right out of the box. At ProPlay we believe simpler is better. And when it comes to cameras or software we’ll only use it if it’s simple.

ProPlay 640p Video Camera
Key Features
In addition to lightweight, portable and easy-to-use, we also built the camera to be
scratch- and water-resistant and easy to see in bright sunlight. And we were committed to using high Quality materials to ensure great video Quality. Our Global Shutter, a feature found only in the premium cameras, provides for undistorted frame-by-frame recording with amazing clarity. Not only is this a great video camera — it looks great too! In short, we stayed true to our mission of providing a Quality camera, that’s Simple to use and that provides the Results the athlete is looking for.
Unique and Functional Shape
The camera has only 6 buttons, all conveniently and prominently placed, to facilitate the ease-of-use that’s so important to all of us when we’re out working on our game. It’s very Simple to operate and the design facilitates viewing the videos as the screen is on top of the camera allowing the golfer to simply look down at the camera to view the video without changing its position. We’ve also added crosshairs to the screen to allow for checking appropriate head and body positions during playback.
Great for Putting and Short Game
You can set up the ProPlay camera on the range to Capture your full swing and then take it over to the putting or chipping green to work on your short game. The small
tripod that is bundled with the Camera allows for great positioning to get the ground-level view of your putting and chipping strokes. If you really want to shave strokes off your score, use the ProPlay to improve your short game.
Frame Rate (FPS)
Our camera captures the action at 30 frames per second – other cameras have higher frame rates but for our purposes we concluded that 30 frames per second struck the right balance between recording time, image resolution, and ease of frame-by-frame playback. More frames per second, while allowing the player to see more of the nuances in the swing, comes at the cost of lower image quality and less recording time. In the future we may offer a camera with more frames per second for the more analytical among us if the demand exists, but for now we think we have the right balance with a camera that offers the appropriate frame-by-frame feedback necessary to identify swing flaws and take corrective action. Once again, the ProPlay Capture 640p was designed by golfers for golfers.
Other Camera Choices
There are all sorts of video cameras on the market with all sorts of different features and functionalities. Most come with very detailed User Manuals and most people who buy them never fully understand how to use them or only use a subset of the features they have. You can spend a lot more money for a video camera but we believe you won’t find one better suited to the needs of golfers and other athletes looking to improve their game.
The ProPlay Choice
What we’ve done at ProPlay is to build a camera around those features that athletes will use. When we designed the camera, we had the golfer in mind and wanted a camera that could be taken to the range, the putting green or out on the course and was Simple enough to use that the golfer didn’t really have to think about it – simply press the record button and the camera took care of the rest.

You’ll be impressed by how small and lightweight the camera is. Plus it’s weather resistant, shock resistant, heat resistant and dust resistant. And because it’s pocket sized, you can take it anywhere and use it anywhere.
2.4” ORGANIC LED DISPLAY (OLED)
The screen has outstanding outdoor viewing characteristics, and with its wide viewing angle, it allows for instant feedback- you don’t have to wait to view your video on your computer. And it’s Green certified.
APTINA IMAGING’S TRUESNAP GLOBAL SHUTTER

ProPlay Scratch Software
Analyze Your Swing
After you’ve Captured your swing with the ProPlay Capture 640p video camera, and
reviewed the results real-time through the camera screen, you can then further analyze things with our Scratch Virtual Trainer software that is included in the ProPlay Performance System. Even if you’re not comfortable with using a computer, you’ll find the Scratch software very user-friendly. Uploading your videos into the software is very simple and you’ll find that using the various drawing tools to help analyze your swing is very intuitive. We designed it to be very user-friendly and simple to use while at the same time providing the user with all the functionality necessary to analyze the key components of the golf swing or other athletic motion.
Measure your progress with side by side video image comparison
When you start using Scratch you’ll appreciate
the side-by-side video images that allow you to compare your current swing to where you were a month ago. Or a year ago. You can compare your swing looking down the line with your swing looking head-on. You can even start building your own library of professional swings and then start working on a swing that looks like the Big Easy or young Rory McElroy. You’ll find that being able to see your swing against other swings will really help you improve.
Meets the needs of the athlete
We could have added more features and functionality to our software but that would have made it more complicated. Our software is simple to use and has all the necessary features to meet the needs of the athlete. We may offer a more feature-rich version targeted at the teaching pros but our primary customer is the golfer/athlete and we designed the software to work for them.
Frame-by Frame and Variable Speed Playback
It really makes a difference when you start watching your swing frame-by-frame or in slow motion. Just think about how cool it is when they show us the swings of the pros in slow motion on TV – we get a much better appreciation of their swing and we see things that we just can’t see when viewing their swing at full speed. Slowing it down really helps and it allows each of us to focus on that area of the swing where we need some work. Maybe our takeaway is too far inside and we end up coming over the top. Maybe we’re across the line or laid off at the top. Maybe we’re not keeping our angles consistent throughout the swing. All these things are impossible to focus on and see at full speed but in frame-by-frame we can really see what we’re doing. Again, we kept this Simple and easy-to-use so you spend your time analyzing your swing not trying to figure out the software.
Clip and Email your Videos
The email feature is really neat but you probably won’t want to email the full video file. So all you have to do is clip what you want and send that along. Maybe you want to show your coach your position at the top or your takeaway or your transition – easy to do. Or maybe you want to show him/her one swing out of the hundreds you video’d that day. Or maybe you want to focus on your putting stroke and short game work. Whatever it is, simply clip the video file you want to send and then email it. It’s simple and it allows you to get input from your coach between lessons to ensure you’re doing the right things.
Virtual Lessons
Using the Scratch software in combination with the ProPlay Capture 640p video camera allows you to take virtual lessons where you can practice on your schedule and then get the input from your pro when he/she has time in the evenings or early morning before they head out for a day of lessons. So you can work on your game on your time and get the attention of your coach on his time. It works for everyone.
